Thinking about installing low carbon heating solutions in your home?
Wondering how much it will cost, how much you'll save and if there are any loans or grants available to you?
This event is your opportunity to find out about all of the above.

Meet local installers, ask questions, learn about the range of options out there and chat to local residents with recent experience of domestic renewable energy solutions.
​
There will be solar panel and heat pump experts, home energy efficiency advisors, information about grants and lending, thermal imaging cameras and information about how you can borrow them for your home, retrofit advisors as well as creative and interactive activities for all ages. PLUS delicious food available from Feast Kitchen.

Art activities on the day
Bring the whole family!
Join our Arts Engagement Team - Shelley and Emma - for some energy related creativity for all ages.

Using our Microscope come and marvel at the tiny structures that use solar power to create and store energy through photosynthesis.
​
10-11 am - come and block print a seahorse onto card or an item of your choice - bring a plain tote bag, t shirt or pillowcase!
​
11am to 12pm - participate in our mural wall exploring how the sun's energy powers the web of life - including the seagrass and seahorses that are underwater right here in our estuary!
Add your ideas about transitioning to renewable energy and how we can all be involved.
This event has been organised by Kingsbridge Area Sustainability Group - A collective of community action groups working together to take impactful action on climate and nature in our area. Organising groups include Kingsbridge Climate Action, Wild About Loddiswell, Greener East Allington, Sustainable Malborough and South Huish, Sustainable Thurlestone, Buckland and Bantham.
